Don’t be put off by Wireless Intercoms there are a good option and have a number of advantages compared to hardwired versions.

Advantages

• Little or no service trench/ducting
• No internal routing of cables
• Standalone re-chargeable cordless phone set(s) in the house
• Mobility around house and garden

Disadvantages

• May not be suitable if there is a lot of trees/buildings between gate/house
• May not be suitable on old iron stone dwellings or dwellings with very thick walls

So long as the signal range is checked and is suitable for your property, there is no reason why you won’t get reliable use from a wireless intercom.
