Sliding motors can specified for ornamental steel gates, solid boarded timber gates, domestis and industrial applications – they do not impose on the overall aesthetic appearance of the gate as the are positioned inside or behind a pier or post.

Sliding gate motors are generally Electro-Mechanical and can be specified for use with single or three phase power.

Emergency Override

All types of motors incorporate an emergency manual override feature so that gates can be overridden in the event of a power failure or emergency.

In some cases sliding gate motors can be specified with a battery back up which allows the override feature to be activated by remote control – handy for solid boarded gates where there is no other access to property than the main gate entrance.
