Key Switches / Push Buttons

Key switches can be used in place of a codepad, remote control or intercom.

A key switch may be specified at the gate entrance to open ‘hold open’ the gates.

A simple push button can be specified where security is not required, for instance where gates are required only to keep pets or livestock in.

This allows for free access and exiting.

NB: Just a word of caution, push buttons (or any other means of access control) need to be positioned so that persons cannot lean through open rails or pales – thus reducing the risk of entrapment.
